Very much like an engine is to a car, technology tools are to marketers. A large portion of my job as a marketer is to make sure that my clients are at the forefront of marketing technology, especially the free ones. Adapting and adopting to new technology is in many cases what keeps your marketing efforts ahead of the competition. Let’s take a look at some of the tools we use that you or your marketing team should be as well…
“Humans and machines – each on their own – won’t be enough to drive businesses in the coming decades. Tomorrow’s leading enterprises will be those that know how to meld the two effectively” – Accenture.

It’s those forward-thinking businesses who have adopted robotics, automation software and technologies, that have increased their productivity by over 200% evidence suggest. This helps re-affirm what the future workforce will look like: human and digital interaction on a daily basis.
If you haven't seen the recent banter between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk regarding the ongoing debate of Artificial Intelligence, you should probably check it out. Two of the greatest minds in the tech space going at each other over what should be or shouldn’t be, so what’s all the fuss about? Let’s take a look:
Results will always speak for themselves, no matter how convincing the sales pitch is.
As an avid technology enthusiast and entrepreneur, finding new and upcoming technologies that may be instrumental in either Marketing Eye's or our clients future marketing campaigns is a passion.

Recently, one such technology asked for Marketing Eye's competitors, and did an analysis on where they sit from a digital perspective compared to Marketing Eye Atlanta. It was fascinating. Our company is a mere 4 years old in the US, and in year one, we realized that we outperformed all our competitors on Google listings/rankings and all areas of social media. It was something we were very proud of, as we don't spend all day pushing this medium, but a bit over 30 minutes in total including writing this blog.
I had a moment of clarity yesterday, that will define my life moving forward. I realized that I am not living the life I want to live and something has to change.
Starting  your career and wondering where you fit in the mix? Well, don't wonder any further. It's quite simple. You are either on your way to astronomical success that may lead to a) a future CMO position b) a job as a Martech c) entrepreneurism d) stalemate.

Marketing Executives don't just have degrees

When you are paying $30,000 to $60,000 per year in the US to gain an under graduate degree of some form, whether its marketing, management or communications - then you would want to make the most of it. But the truth is, few and far between do. They choose to holiday and party in summer and other vacations rather than get leg up on other students by taking on internships in chosen fields.
Did you know you can get a degree in storytelling? Several universities offer a Master of Arts in Professional Communication with a Concentration in Storytelling. Storytelling is defined as the conveying of events in words, sounds and/or images, often by improvisation or embellishment. Culturally, humans have been using stories or narratives to preserve our history long before the written word even existed. These stories we used for entertainment, education, and instilling moral values, think of Aesops Fables.
Social media, a virtual world designed to share, to exchange information, or to notify all of your contacts of how photogenic your cat is. Many social media outlets have assertively established their importance in the marketing industry. However, as these platforms evolve, it is key that marketers take full advantage of them.

While all channels of social media aren’t applicable to every business, if used efficiently they can be a creative avenue to reach target audiences. Currently, snapchat is the new wave.

Snapchat is a mobile application that allows users to send and receive "self-destructing" photos and videos called snaps. Additionally, users can post snaps creating a montage like “story” for all their followers to view. Snapchat has successfully distinguished itself from other media platforms with their live, then disappearing content characteristics.

Okay, enough back story. What can Snapchat do for marketers? Oh, how the possibilities are endless with this one, so here’s a few.
Yesterday I was bursting at the seams. Life couldn't get much better. I had a few meetings and they went so well that I literally couldn't stop smiling and that feeling deep inside was one that I haven't felt in a long time.
The question is often asked of our people at Marketing Eye : "What do you do that other marketing firms don't?". And the answer is quite simple.

While other's are now using the term "outsourced marketing department", few have actually defined it quite like we have at Marketing Eye. After 24 years in the industry, I have learned a lot from both succeeding and failing. From these learnings, I have developed a series of systems, processes and ways in which to improve our capability of delivering world-leading marketing strategies to businesses seeking a high growth return.

The difference is from start to finish
